An integrated approach that employs therapeutic techniques from the emerging field of Somatic Psychology, as well as more traditional approaches including Cognitive Behavioral, and Client-Centred techniques guide Carey-Jo’s counselling practice. Mindfulness, based in a secular understanding of Buddhist philosophy, is also an essential component of Carey-Jo’s approach to assisting clients to work through emotional upheaval and cope with the challenges of daily life.

Carey-Jo is a compassionate, creative, and non-judgmental counsellor dedicated to the collaborative discovery of positive change for her clients. Her experience includes working with clients challenged by depression, anxiety, grief, conflict mediation, addiction, trauma, and life altering experiences.
