Euphemia is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Her professional background includes working as a high school art teacher and school counsellor for a decade in Vancouver before moving into private practice as a therapist. She is a mom of two boys and has extensive knowledge and experience with parenting, co-parenting and supporting families, youth and individuals of all ages. Euphemia is committed to building authentic connections, creating safety and space for vulnerability, self-compassion and change.
With an approach informed by an interest in nervous system regulation, attachment, and trauma processing, Euphemia creates an opportunity for clients to explore, grow, and heal. She emphasizes mindfulness, self-compassion, and healthy boundaries, supporting clients in developing greater awareness and resilience. Euphemia integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Parts Work (IFS) into her practice, tailoring her approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
Euphemia provides individual and family counselling for human beings of all ages, races, cultures, sexual orientations and gender identities experiencing any or all of the following challenges: anxiety, depression, ADHD, existential woe, interpersonal relationships, perfectionism, people pleasing, boundary setting, parenting, childhood trauma, attachment fractures, family dynamics, grief and loss, as well as life changes and other transitions.
Euphemia provides counselling services in English.
