WHAT ABOUT FEES?

At Jericho we believe that our fees should be fair and reflect the professional level of the counselling services that clients receive. As part of this we have carefully considered the costs of providing counselling services in the Burnaby and Vancouver area as well as the costs of other comparable service providers. We also believe that the fees should reflect flexibility so that as many clients as possible are able to afford the counselling services we provide.

All of our fees are in accordance with the recommended fee guidelines set forth by the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors. We also offer a sliding fee scale, based on income, that may bring individual fees down as low as $90 per session and couple / family counselling fees as low at $110 per session. We are required to add HST on to all session fees.

AFFORDABILITY OPTIONS

Jericho also offers the services of Graduate Intern counsellors at substantially reduced rates to make our counselling services available to an even broader range of clients. Our Interns see individual clients for $65 per session and couples / families for $75 per session. We offer daytime, evening, and weekend appointment times at both the Burnaby and Vancouver counselling offices.

WILL INSURANCE COVER MY COUNSELLING?

Registered Clinical Counsellors and Canadian Certified Counsellors are often recognized by providers with workplace health benefit plans. Your workplace Human Resources department or their insurance company will be able to advise you on this.

If you discover that R.C.C.’s or C.C.C.’s are not covered under your insurance you may want to get your employer to make a small adjustment to your plan. It is actually not that much work and will not cost your employer anything while increasing your benefits.

HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT?

Payment is required at the conclusion of all counselling sessions. For your convenience Jericho Counsellors are able to accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Interac, and cash in payment for all sessions.
